Reinforcement horse stool: "invisible support" of cast-in-place slab
The reinforced horse stool is the key auxiliary part in the cast-in-place concrete construction, which looks like a horse stool, so it gets its name.
It is mainly erected between the reinforcement at the bottom of the slab and the surface reinforcement, and its function is to fix the spacing and height of the upper reinforcement, prevent the upper reinforcement from sinking due to construction load or vibration impact during concrete pouring, and ensure that the effective height of the slab and the thickness of the protective layer of the reinforcement meet the standards.
The specification of the horse stool shall be calculated and determined according to the thickness of the slab and the diameter of the steel bar. The common steel bar is processed on site. Although it is inconspicuous, it is directly related to the structural safety of the cast-in-place slab.
